Chain of Synchronicity's

This post is about a chain of occurrences that happened in April 2008 and then picked back up and finished in November 2008. Back when this happened, I didn't realize the importance it would have in my life today.

Synchronicity... that is what this chain of events is called.
I want to ~ have to share it here! I need to log it and this is the place I decided it should be:

One Friday evening in the early month of April 2008 (just a month since Mary had left us), I was standing outside in the breezeway of where I live. I had tears in my eyes flowing from my heart. My mind was all over the place. I couldn't believe my sister was gone. I had heard of this famous psychic/medium on Long island named George Anderson. I found his website and saw that his wait was almost a year and he was more like $1200. Holey Moley. First of all I had never been to a medium before nor had any desire to until now but $1200 - No way. Well at least not anytime soon I thought. Then, all of a sudden as I ended that thought, I felt my sisters presence - It was strong. It was pretty incredible. Especially when she started talking because I heard how she actually spoke. Her tone, her sound, to a tee! She said to me, "Jeni, don't you dare spend your hard earned money like that. You work too hard. I will come to you. I promise!!" Wow right?
The next day we went to my in-laws for a celebration of some sorts. I mentioned to Nancy, my friend and family, the price of George Anderson. She brought me a book from her shelf called, "Another Door Opens" by Jeffrey Wands. She said he was in Port Washington, NY and is less than $200 for a reading. If I wanted to go, she and my father in law would pay. That was sweet :)! I didn't make any kind of decision. "I don't go to psychics" and I wasn't about to waste money on just anyone. They had to be good, reputible. Anyway, I start reading the book when I got home and enjoyed it. That night I decided that I really liked how Jeffrey Wands wrote and what he wrote about. It was comforting. As I closed the book, I made the decision I would look up his number and call him. As I decided this, one of his business cards fell out of the book. Really! Wow right?
I called the next morning and left a message. Two days later AS his office is calling me back, A picture of Mary is being text messaged to me from her husband Brian. It was the last picture ever taken of her. Just days before she died. The phone call from the psychic and Mary's picture were coming in at the same time. Amazing right?

Sooooo, I made the appointment for the soonest I could. November 2008. Chad and I decided to do it together :). As we are driving to the appointment about 40 minutes away from where we live, we turned down two wrong streets. First we turned down Francis Blvd when we shouldn't have, then we turned onto Maryland Ave. These wrong turns weren't so bad. We got there in time! The reading was interesting. He was good. We left there with some intrigue and some comfort. The amazing thing was that the two main souls that came through were his Granny Francis and my sister Mary. Remember, the two wrong streets we turned on the way there were Francis Blvd & Maryland ave. Pretty Cool right?

Well, this is just the one of many synchronicities I've been able to recognize. I am just thrilled for all these confirmations that I AM NOT ALONE! I AM HEARD! I believe that our loved ones don't leave us..... How comforting is that?

A Red Wish

Another foot of snow here on Long Island.... a record amount of snowfall here for the month of January.
Trains aren't running so I am able to take my time in shoveling the foot of snow off my SUV. Just before I do, I stood there bundled up from head to toe with shovel in hand and thought to myself:
"I wish Mary's kids were here with me.
They would have so much fun helping me with this"

Just as my thought ended I saw a flash of red fly above my head.
Then I heard the chirp chirp chirp of my cardinal. There it was ~ up in the tree! Literally just staring at me. It stayed an unusually long amount of time. Maybe a full 5 minutes. I don't know. I was just having so much fun. My giggles were uncontrollable. I knew it was for me. I even caught a picture. Not very good, but its there nonetheless.

If you look closely at the picture, you will even see iridescent colors in and around the tree.
This is no coincidence.... how could it be?

The Synchro Project

For those who know me, you will understand why I am so very happy to have found and hooked up with Lesley Roy of The Synchro Project! We spoke for almost an hour today sharing our stories of synchronicities..... wonderful things have been been occurring since the day my Mary passed away and are still happening. Now I have someone to share and learn with.

As quoted from an article written by DR. CHRISTIANE NORTHRUP , found on The Synchro Project website under "In The News" ~

Lesley believes, “More than mere coincidence, the presence of synchronicities in our lives just may show that life has an incredible sense of meaning and purpose.”

Have you ever had this experience? You’re thinking about someone, the phone rings, and the person you were thinking about is on the line. That’s a synchronicity almost everyone can relate to.

Lesley believes, “The Synchro experience answers the question of our connectivity—vividly, surprisingly, wonderfully, and definitively—making the case for true meaning, for sacred truth. Through such direct spontaneous and highly personal experiences, one acquires skills and hones the insight required to heal self and others.”

The Synchro Project's most recent theme: “Can Synchronicity Reveal Life’s Meaning in Ways Science Can’t Understand?”

“surpasses our powers of comprehension...” -C.G.Jung

Special Reconnection

Thanks to FB, I've been reconnected with my Taft HS lil sis "Elizabeth".... we were reconnected at a very special time in my life - My wedding! I received an e-mail so special it brought tears to my eyes.
We've stayed in touch... there's something special about our friendship! It's been over 20 years but it doesn't matter! It's NOW that matters!

What is amazing is the fact that she still had a special gift I gave her back then. She just shared these with me today on 1/1/11!

Lil Black Glove - Part II

My lil black glove that won't get lost!

I posted a fun blog back in January 2010 about the two times I lost one of my gloves and how it got returned and found. (blog archive - January 23, 2010 - "Lil Black Glove")

Well, here we go again! Saturday, January 1st, 2011 I was walking my Honey dog - it was freezing cold and dark. When I returned inside, I reached in my pocket to pull out my gloves that I didn't bother to put on, but only one was there. I thought, "Oh No, not again"...... I went outside and backtracked the short distance of our walk. I thought I did a thorough search, especially given the history of these special gloves. It was as if the glove just disappeared. I walked back into my home feeling a bit down...... Then my positive thinking instinct kicked in and assured me with, "Oh well, I guess it was bound to be lost. Must have been its destiny"! I was already finding gratitude in the fun memories I had with my lil black gloves.

THEN...... 3 days later, I got a text from my husband with the picture above. It said, "Is this your glove?"

I did imaginary backflips and jumped as high as the clouds! I couldn't believe it!

There is some magic going on with these gloves!
