Beachin Meditation

I know, this is a funny picture .... stop laughing okay?
It's 1979 for goodness sake!

Last night during my mediation I saw the beach and the waves and kids playing. It was very peaceful. The energy was fun. Then I saw this picture "in action". Mary, in the cute blue swimsuit, was running towards me in my vision and laughing while Davey & I (yes, the skinny string bean in the middle) were right behind her ~ running with her. It was a fun sight in my meditation and I knew it seemed familiar. I dug in my closet to my Bins full of Memories (pictures, pictures & more pictures)!! I found it! I knew I'd seen these bathing suits and this scene before.

Having this vision made me feel like I was right there - kind of like a ghost of beachtime past!

What a treat to have Mary visit me in meditation.....

Open House

Do you ever feel like things were put in your path for a reason?

The cardinal, the cardinal, the cardinal!! What can I say? It's there in my face, pretty obvious what it is symbolizing. How could it not be?! Showing up the day she passed & then in Texas racing us to the funeral home on a busy road? Everywhere since then......

  • Last weekend we had a little red visitor as we ate hot dogs from the truck on the side of the road. I was able to capture that one in a picture.
  • Yesterday Chad & I were driving down a major Parkway here on Long Island and a large feathery flash of red flew in front of us to the trees on the right. We both were a bit stunned and I said, "Wow ~Did you see that? Was that really a cardinal on this busy Parkway?" YUP....
"OPEN HOUSE"

Chad & I were headed to look at our first house for sale yesterday afternoon.
We are officially househunting now.

The first house we were to look at was an open house. We made it there just before it ended. There in this empty house was the real estate broker. Dressed casually in black leggings and a purple hooded zipdown sweater with faux fur. She was wearing flipflops showing off a much needed pedicure but could see why she hadn't, she had scrapes all over her toes. She had brown straight hair with blonde highlights. Very tan. She must not have weighed over 100 pounds. She had a box of 50 Dunkin donut munchkins on the kitchen counter with only MY favorite - glazed!! She had a big smile and an energy that was just sweet as can be. She chattered on about excusing her toes - she was in the bahamas and had a run-in with the rocks on some rapids. She then went on to say she was a cat rescuer and had two german shephards. She was funny! I liked her. Hmmmm, what was it about her that reminded me of someone? She was someone I could easily be friends with! We had a lot in common. I couldn't believe it when she told me her age - she looked so young. She's the exact age as me. I looked out the window at the backyard and saw a cardinal, blue jay and the little dark gray bird that is always with my cardinal at my home. I said out loud, "Wow, a cardinal!". The real estate broker said "Yeah, my mom is a big fan of the cardinal, she thinks it's sent to her by her mom"....I turned around and looked at her and said, "That's true. They have been in my life since my sister Mary died in 2008". The real estate broker smiled and said, "My name is Mary too".

Isn't that cool? I knew Mary was with me, I just knew!

Pastor Friend Chris

On 1/10/11 I got an e-mail from a Mary friend who had been searching for her for some time. Just another reason why I am so happy to have this blog in honor of her! To connect with the people who's life she touched - always in a positive way! I'm here to share my sisters life - so many Memories to Cherish!

Here is another friend who will miss and now cherish our Mary:

Jeni,
I found you through your blog dedicated to Mary.....From about 2002-2003 I was Mary and Brian's pastor in Nederland. We had so much fun with them.....then, I had taken a church in Missouri. I tried to track both of them down...So occasionally I would just do a simple google search, but I could never find anything. Last night, on a whim, I searched again and ran across the blog. I was obviously shocked to find out what happened. I was pretty close to Brian and Mary.....Brian and I used to hang out a lot and go to movies. Mary and I even worked out together a few times in Nederland.....Mary was really special. She just had a way of making everyone around her so comfortable. I was never around her when she wasn't smiling and upbeat. I used to tease her about being addicted to exercise. I really regret losing touch with them. Chris

Thank you Chris for allowing me to share your memory here! I am my sisters memory keeper.....

Random Synchro

Last Saturday I wrote a post called "Chain of Synchronicites".
Later that day I had a random thought, "I wonder what the mediums in Texas are like"!
There was no real reason why the heck I thought that, but I did. Then I forgot that thought. It was in and out of my little head.
Sunday morning I recieved a comment posted to that blog post. IT WAS FROM A PSYCHIC in Texas!!!!!! Amazing huh? Just a random person who found my blog!

THEN, later that day I got an email from a longtime friend in Texas who told me shes taking mediumship classes! (this friend and I have some amazing parallel's in our 20+ years of knowing each other)!

So many little things like this happen... it is absolutely amazing..... my thoughts are being heard!

Beastie Cardinal pic

she said it made her think of me and that it was
