Random Magic in an Auspicious time

Its that time of year again.   The week of Mary and Jen.... signs of love from above are abundant during the week of 7/29 - 8/6.  Mary's B day being 7/31 and my B day being 8/6.

..... what a wonderful way to end my day....with A random gift of chocolates & coffee from Hawaii and  a fun Friday feather in my path as I ran to the train to get home to start my Birthday weekend!

🕊️ The bonus to today was the amazing synchronicity that happened.  Just a couple days ago I thought of this friend I hadn't seen in while, wondering how she has been.... Then out of nowhere, I ran into her today, she was so full of excitement she could barely get the words out and what she said to me gave me goosebumps....she said, "OMG, I just had a dream the other night and I couldn't wait to tell you.  My dream was filled with nothing but Cardinals!  That's it!". I asked her if she had lost anyone in her life who may be sending her messages and she said "No! I think it was your sister Mary!"

Another thing happened that I would consider synchronistic as well.  I had bought a new brand of shampoo and conditioner last weekend and two days ago I thought to myself, "I don't like this new brand, my hair feels dry!"    Well,  today another random gift came my way that I believe spoke to this thought.   A resident of mine came into my office and said he remembered it was my B day and he wanted to give me a gift.  He handed me bag that had some organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash.  How random is that?? How sweet is that?   This resident has lived in  my building for over 3 years, he happens to be blind.  I know the gift was not a flirtation,  he is just a nice man who appreciates kindness, sincerity and respect - all of which I can admit I have given him.

Isn't it amazing how much magic there is in life?  I pray I may always have the heart to see this and I pray that I continue to learn and grow in my life.   I am learning to flow more with the universe by staying in the moment and seeing the world around with love and without judgment in all.

my Birthday Gifts from above

Birthday gift at 11 last night: Chad & I went outside for our last Honey walk for the night a little after 11pm and I couldn't believe my ears... There were cardinal chirps coming from the trees. I looked at Chad and said "do you hear that? Cardinal chirps!!! Birds sleep at night - wow!" Birthday chirps just for me  ~ thanks Mary!

another magical gift: I had a dream of my sister Mary last night. We were in gymnastics together in the dream looking at the height where the instructor put the bar on the wall for us to reach. I looked at Mary and said "are they crazy? That's impossible!" Mary just looked at it, studied it and said "Naw - let me try!" I raised my eyebrows and watched in wonderment as she not only reached the bar but did a back flip off the wall! LOL... That was our Mary..... Always reaching and exceeding giving is all hope! What a beautiful B-day gift! Thanks again sis 

Wonderful B-day news: mom went in to get her heart shocked today.......But.......they didn't have to shock her heart..it was in the right rhythm already! Woo hoo!!!

Birthaversary - hehe

August 6th, My birthday has always been a celebration - Mary and I had always combined our special days together.  Well, we still celebrate her birth, and now we celebrate my marriage.  YES, I got married on my Birthday, making this day even more happy!  It's a Birthaversary! I can't even begin to tell you how magical this day was this year.... signs of love from above EVERYWHERE! I was giggling all day.  I am so blessed.  I cherish all the love in my life!

Mary's lil Birdies

What a treat it was to have Mary's lil legacies with me this summer again.....  We got to spend their mommy's Birthday (July 31st) and my Birthday (August 6th) together - It's a special thing to do, it reminds me of  when we were kids, Mary and I ended up having our Birthday's together since we were so close - kind of like twins :)!
As soon as I saw this picture my friend Sally Parris posted on FB of the lil birds on the branch with the dessert flower, I instantly thought of this picture of me with the kids at the airport sending them home!  Sally posted it the same day I was at the airport - August 7th!  Love the synch.......

Birthday Angel

I was at the pool with my mother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephew & 3 year old Goddaughter, Baby Jaelyn on my Birthday Aug 6th, when I saw the most beautiful cardinal in the tree. I smiled to myself and felt warm with love. No'one else saw it but my mother in law and me. We didn't make a big deal of it, we just looked at each other with a knowing - we just knew my Mary was here with us.

Then........later that evening Baby Jaelyn's mom text me:     

"Jaelyn is going to bed and she says MOM today I saw an angel at the pool, she was watching me from the tree's!"

Mary's Bday Gift to Me

One by one..... Mary's friends are finding me.  How special it is to connect with them and share our love for our Mary, our Mary who made a place in each of our hearts.

Melissa McGee,  a wonderful friend Mary met in college,they were both cheerleaders - full of love and life.  Two days before Mary's 40th Birthday,  Melissa reached out to me:

"Somehow I came across your name on facebook. I randomly went to Jana's website and saw your name at the top. I don't know if you remember me from Mary's wedding but I was a bridesmaid. She was also in my wedding. We were best friends at HPU and cheerleaders together.
Jana shared your website with me. It is beautiful. I cant begin to tell you my red bird stories. My husband has even had the honor to witness a few. 
At HPU Mary and I would take LONG bike rides and runs together. There were some of my most cherished memories. I still go on these long walks now and I am almost ALWAYS followed by a red bird, and it follows closely.  
I have attached a picture of Mary and I at my bridal shower. 18 years ago. I also posted a cheer picture on my wall. Her birthday is approaching and I wanted to let you know I am thinking and praying for you and your family."

What an incredible gift to receive ~ thank you so much Melissa for your love and for the memories you cherish.  I love these pictures so much!! Our little red bird Mary ~ she is still with us....

Brett Birthday

My sweet nephew Brett - hard to believe he is 14 now ~ growing up so fast. He looks so much like Mary it takes my breath away sometimes.

He will never be too old to melt my heart with sweet, fun/funny thoughts.  Here is a fun texversation between Brett & me:

Birthday Magic for David

May 16th is our brother David's birthday.....

David decided to spend his birthday with our mom down at the beach in Port Aransas. His girlfriend Amanda and his good friend Jason came along for some family fun in the sun. Our sister Lisa and her wonderful family joined them. What a gift for everyone to be together!

David, his friend Jason and our brother in-law Victor spent the morning on the beautiful beach lined golf course. David's present to himself. What was about to happen is a gift that he will cherish for the rest of his life!

First part of the course he lost his driver head cover along the way and for some reason when he backtracked it was nowhere to be found. What was found instantly was this beautiful bright cardinal driver head cover staring straight at him. It was love at first sight and he had to have it! Now if he hadn't lost his driver head cover, he may have passed this gift off not wanting to waste money on something he didn't really need. (I think someone up above knew that and wanted him to have it!)Second thing that happened is going to blow you away! David hit his golf ball into the ruff of the sand dunes (and when i say ruff, that's exactly what it is). You don't find your balls in those dunes. He decided to look anyway since it didn't go to far off and he saw exactly where it went. Well, he went to that spot and his ball was nowhere to be found - Nowhere! But.... he came back to the course with a ball that said "Happy Birthday" on it! How magical was that? (Again, I think someone above had their eyes on David!)

Then, after the guys calm down from the amazement of what had just happened on that course, they went on to play the next course. David will be the first to admit that he not a very good golfer (yet), but has fun playing, even if it takes several shots to make the hole. Well, on this particular day and following the events that already occurred, another magical moment is about to happen. DAVID HIT A HOLE IN ONE!!!!

And the crazy thing about all this - just the night before he had text to me that he didn't think our sister Mary has been with him lately. HA! HAPPY BIRTHDAY lil brother - Mary will always be with you!

Kelsey's Blissful Birthday Bash

The party began with its first visitor, a little red feathered friend!

Kelsey's Birthday is at the end of May and her best friend Hannah's is in the middle of May. They put their heads and hearts together and planned a combined Pool Party Birthday with invitations, cake, friends, music, swimming and even a pinata!









They have the nickname "Lil Beasties".... They chose Saturday May 7th for their Birthday celebration. Both girls put so much work went into this party! Kelsey started texting me and sending me pictures from the beginning to the end. I felt the excitement through the phone.
As the girls were getting ready for their big event, Kelsey started texting me around 12:30:

Kelsey: saw 2 cardinals already!!:D

Jeni: That's so awesome!!!!!

Kelsey: i know it was showing off too its not leaving either:)

Jeni: I bet it's your mom!!!!! That's so beautiful.... I'm smiling so big & my heart is melting!

Although I wasn't there physically, I felt like I was there because of the connectiveness Kelsey and I share! She is in my heart and I am in hers so wherever I am, she is and wherever she is, I am!
