A couple doves to love

I don't really have much to post about right now... feeling sadder than usual.
I got a bad case of the stomach flu ~ causing me to feel extra blue.

I shared my blog with a new friend this week & she shared some pics of her precious doves with me I'd like to share with you.

I have a couple new birds that have been visiting my bird kingdom out back. 2 bluish gray doves. ~ so beautiful they are. I tried to take their picture but of course they flew away.

This is the month you passed away last year. Maybe that has something to do with my blues. 11 more days and it will be a year! Crazy how life goes on here on earth, now just with a few more tears....

Ah sis, I'm so sorry you are not feeling well. I've been sadder this month too. Life without Mary here is just not the same. When I see the birds in flight I can't help but think of Mary's spirit and soul soaring and Mary being truly free and happy.
I love the doves. They are so peaceful and pure. The cardinals are so strikingly beautiful. Both describe our Mary so well.

Hey, Jeni!

I am right here with you...feeling the blues. I am extra sad that you are feeling so "sick." That just makes everything 10 times worse. I keep having dreams about Mary..."not so good" dreams. I don't know what is trying to get out of my subconscious, but I am just trying to process and heal. But, I do have my very own cardinal in the back yard...and a new alligator just showed up...just a baby. So, I know she has not given up on me. And, I will NEVER give up on her. She will always be my very best friend. Just know that you are not alone! There are many people out there who adore Mary and feel the pain of her year anniversary. We will get through this...mostly by honoring her and continuing her legacy. By the way...i love the doves!

Love you,
Kerri
